This is the sound of paper being cut on a paper cutter (like at kinko's). I created this with a zoom h5n and the wind guard from a shotgun mic. I brushed the wind guard against the built-in x-y zoom mics. See my "paper cutter-stereo" if you want it in stereo.

Bad windstorm was came to pécel, hungary on 31st march 2012. I recorded some sounds caused by the wind, for example door shutting, trees whizzing, etc. I used sony stereo dictaphone, 44100 khz, 16 bits, stereo. I tried to minimize the rumbling sounds.

This is a section of a recording i did when a school nearby had a field day. There's a decent part in the middle, where the wind sound is practically gone. I used some filters to take out the wind sound as much as possible, but the high end whistling of the wind is still a bit audible. Feel free to use this in anything!.

Sound from near my flat (great barr birmingham uk) at around 4am. There are various bird sounds within this file aswell as being able to hear the m6 motorway in the distance (i did try to accent this by pointing the mic in different directions). There are also 3 types of footstep sounds, grass, dirt with stones, concrete slab. My wind shield isnt the best so hopefully you can find some use of the sounds!.

The presents of the colourful red and yellow dry leaves that is still on the trees, creates the noise of the wind with rustling whispers. Is a constantly form of natural white noise that is always changing and evolving. These recordings is from my third attempt. I think it is very difficult to record the “spirit” and unique sound of the wind. This is pure natural wind sounds (no layering, no post-processing, no synthesizers).
